Oh, where do we even start?! Ocean City’s 2026 event calendar is stacked. Springfest kicked things off April 23–26 at the Inlet Parking Lot with free concerts and arts & crafts. Oceans Calling Festival returns September 25–27 with 40+ performances across 3 stages right on the classic Ocean City Boardwalk. And that’s just the tip of the sandbar — there’s also the OC Air Show, Fourth of July fireworks, the White Marlin Open, and Sunfest in the fall. Basically, you’re going to need a longer vacation.
Yes, and we love OC for this! Springfest and Sunfest are two of Ocean City’s signature festivals that draw big crowds with live entertainment, food, and unique vendors — and admission is free. There are also free Concerts on the Beach and Sunset Park Party Nights every Thursday in July and August from 7–9pm, overlooking the bay. Bring a chair, bring a friend, leave your wallet at the condo. The best things in OC really are free.
Ocean City, Maryland has no shortage of happy hour deals, but the best ones tend to be at the bayside bars and year-round locals’ spots away from the peak-season boardwalk crowds. Most run weekdays between 3pm and 7pm and include discounted drinks alongside food specials — think half-price apps, raw bar deals, and discounted crab dip. Our Happy Hours & Dining Specials page keeps a running list updated weekly so you always know where to go. See this week’s deals →
Ocean City, Maryland has an impressive amount of free activity built right into the destination. The boardwalk itself — three miles of shops, food, people-watching, and ocean breezes — is free to walk any time. All of Ocean City’s public beaches have free access, though parking fees apply in-season. Free outdoor concerts, festivals, and community events run throughout the summer, many organized by Ocean City Special Events. The Town of Ocean City also maintains free family programming at the beach throughout July and August.
