About Ocean City Vibes

Hello there! You’ve just surfed into the coolest corner of the internet — built by an Ocean City local, for everyone who loves this town.

Why We Built This

Picture this...

You’re in Ocean City, MD, the sun is setting, the vibe is chef’s kiss — and you just want to find a great happy hour or catch some live music. So you start searching online and… ugh. 😤 Multiple websites. Outdated info. Buried details. Zero clarity.

That frustration? That’s exactly why Ocean City Vibes was born. 🙌

Official tourism sites give you the broad strokes. What they can’t give you is the insider layer — the stuff locals actually use. The happy hour that’s worth crossing town for. The bayside dive where the best acoustic sets happen on a Tuesday. The events that never make the big calendars but somehow everyone local knows about.

OCV fills that gap. One place — clean, current, and easy to use on the go — where you can instantly find happy hour specials, live music lineups, and the week’s best happenings without wasting a single minute of precious beach time. No fluff. No rabbit holes. Just the good stuff, every week. 🎯

The Publisher

Meet Lizzie Dietz

Lizzie isn’t just passionate about Ocean City, MD — she’s practically made of salt air and sunshine. ☀️🦀 Since 1969, her OC story has been woven from sandy toes, blue crabs, and those magical July 4th fireworks over the boardwalk. 🎆

At 15, she got her start at the legendary Phillips Crab House on 21st Street — the first of many Ocean City jobs over the years that gave her an insider’s perspective you simply can’t get any other way. She hasn’t just visited Ocean City, Maryland — she’s lived it, worked it, and loved every chapter of it. 🏖️✨

Ocean City Vibes grew directly from that lifelong connection. What started as a passion for sharing the OCMD scene turned into a weekly newsletter read by thousands of locals and visitors who want the real story — not the press release version.
